Support and Resistance

Where price has repeatedly turned before.

Support is a level where buyers have repeatedly stepped in; resistance is where sellers have. They're memory, not magic — traders place orders where price mattered last time.

Levels are zones, not exact numbers. Expect price to poke through and reverse rather than stop on the cent.

Broken resistance often becomes new support. That flip is one of the most common places to place a stop loss.
